Word from the Chairman of Melco-Mec Egypt
"Eng.Mohammed Shawky"

Word from Executive Vice President, Group President Building Systems Mitsubishi Corporation

Our success in becoming the leaders in the business of elevators and escalators reminded me of those days back in 1984 when we introduced a sophisticated worldwide known Japanese product for the first time in Egypt. Our product is known for its quality, reliability, cost effectiveness and most importantly safety.

It was really a great challenge but enjoyable. I still remember selling and installing just 4 elevators in the first year, stepping forward through the years of success to lead the market with more than 600units sold in 2010; and accumulated 4,000 elevators and escalators installed, running and under service.

I would like to thank all those who have made this happen, beginning with our partners "Mitsubishi Electric Corporation" for their strong and continuous support, our respectable customers who trusted us, the professional consultant engineers who recommended our products, and last but not least our wonderful staff members (700 personnel), whom without their contribution and devotion and faithfulness we could not have achieved this success.
First, I want to thank Eng. Mohamed Shawky for his enormous effort to grow Melco-Mec Company, Melco-Mec expanded its business scale very much recently.

Our business principle at Mitsubishi is “To maintain a sustainable growth and establish a well-integrated business structure with 3 key items:
Scale: keeping stable business structure with well-balanced New Sales, Maintenance, Modernization. Profitability: Through financial management structure. And Maximized Customers' Satisfaction.

We are very proud of high quality reputation which Melco-Mec has built in the Egyptian market for a long time; attaining the highest level of customer satisfaction.

In spite of the severe competition we are exposed recently, I strongly believe that Melco-Mec will get over this situation taking further advances towards Next Progress.
